Thanksgiving Point in Lehi Utah is an amazing place, with a variety of activities, both regular and seasonal, to keep a visitor entertained. However, being the hardcore foodie that I am, my favorite attraction is the Harvest restaurant, and the delicious food that they offer.
I’ve eaten at Harvest 3 or 4 times, and tried something new and delicious each time. The restaurant is a little on the pricey side, but the food is above average, and the ambiance is cozy, making it worth the price.
The tempura battered onion rings are delicious, as are the rock shrimp nachos. The batter on the onion rings is crisp and flaky, and the onion rings were much less greasy than some places. The rock shrimp nachos were an enjoyable experience, something new and flavorful and altogether delightful.
The tomato basil soup and Caesar salad are fairly standard, but delicious nonetheless. From there, we get to the real treat, the entrees. As for drinks, I highly recommend the raspberry and strawberry lemonade.
The menu changes regularly, but for now I would highly recommend the Half Herbed Roasted Chicken with Sauteed Fava Beans and Roasted Fingerling Potatoes. The chicken had a wonderfully crisp skin, and an amazing herb flavor. The best, however, is the Bacon Wrapped Filet Mignon with Sauteed Mushrooms, Grilled Onions and Stilton Cream. It comes served with veggies and mashed potatoes, and the flavor is to die for!
For dessert, I’ve tried only the Creme Brulee, but it was amongst the better I’ve had. At any fine dining restaurant, I always try the Creme Brulee. If the chef can do that just right, you know it’s a keeper.
