So, growing up in Texas, I have some fond memories of driving down to Corsicana to visit the Collin Street Bakery, home to the very best cheesecakes and fruitcakes in the world. Every year, at least once or twice a year, my Mom will order a classic fruitcake and a white chocolate macadamia nut cheesecake from the Collin Street Bakery.
The fruitcakes are absolutely to die for! Even people who generally dislike fruitcake love these. Delicious Texas pecans, candied fruits, soaked in something delicious (probably rum 🙂 ). My Mom is somehow able to make one of these last for a month, while I’m lucky if mine lasts a week!
As for the cheesecake. I love cheesecake. Cheesecake is probably my most favorite of all deserts. The only thing better than a slice of strawberry cheesecake from the Cheesecake Factory is a white chocolate macadamia nut cheesecake from the Collin Street Bakery. Deliciously creamy cheesecake, with crunchy macadamia nuts, white chocolate shavings, and a crust to beat all other crusts. I love these cheesecakes!!!
You can buy your very own taste of heaven from the Collin Street Bakery in Corsicana, TX. While pricey, they are absolutely worth it!
